 Wine & Sound – A Multi-sensory Tasting Experience

with Jo Burzynska

 Sunday February 19th, 8pm

The Golden Dawn (Cnr Richmond & Ponsonby Rds)

The Golden Dawn invites you to discover the surprising synergies between wine and sound in this multi-sensory tasting experience hosted by NZ Herald wine columnist and sound artist, Jo Burzynska (aka Stanier Black-Five).

Through pairing a diverse selection of eclectic wines with a curious variety of musics, Jo will explore the harmonies and discords that can be created by different combinations and illustrate how the perception of a wine’s flavours can be altered by what we’re listening to when we drink it. Additional musical accompaniment will be provided by DJ Jon Bywater.

This truly unique event is a first for The Golden Dawn (Tavern of Power), and we’re excited to be joined by both Jo – a wine expert and lover, as well as purveyor of beautiful noise – and Jon – lecturer, artist and record collecting fanatic.

Don’t miss Wine & Sound – seats are limited.

Tickets $25 (including all wine samples) from http://www.undertheradar.co.nz/utr/show/SID/25444/N/Wine-and-Sound.utr#ixzz1lC0yFGDn
