Pinot Smackdown at Coast Rooftop BarCoast restaurant/roof top bar

If you just happen to be in Sydney on the 6th September, then why not visit Coast Bar. This year they will be holding the Pinot Smackdown event in their rooftop bar. Only 75 lucky people will be able to attend, and tickets are selling fast.

The Pinot Smackdown 3rd Annual event is a celebration of everything Pinot has to offer. Coast will host the event and run the tasting. It’s all about being social and tasting Pinot Noir. So if you haven’t been to Coast and have a love for Pinot Noir then this is the event for you. Even if you just just love one and not the other go along and have some fun.

The event is open for wine bloggers, journalists, and the general Pinotphile, who knows you may even get in free (if you have a high enough Klout score!)

What’s on offer: Coast will offer a range of 16-18 canapés alongside some of the best Pinot Noirs available (predominantly Australia / NZ due to geography)

What they need: The idea is that wineries supply 2-3 bottles of Pinot Noir.  The more engaging in social media the better and it gets good chat.  If they have a rep or the wine maker themself is in Sydney on the day it is great if they can come along and engage with consumers.

Where: The plan for this year’s #Pinotsmackdown is as follows:

Timing:                 5pm – 7.30pm

Who:                     Consumers $30 pp (sales through Coast)

Phone:                  02 9267 6700
