Decanter World Wine Awards 2012 – New Zealand Gold Medal Winners

So another year rolls round and another competition. The Decanter World Wine Awards are not just another competition though, they are the most prestigious. So how did New Zealand do?

New Zealand wines only achieved 12 Gold medals but seven regional trophies, with Saint Clair picking up two. The most surprising, and also encouraging, was the trophy given to a Marlborough Pinot Noir.
