Kumeu River Pinot Gris 2010New Zealand Pinot Gris

Made by Master of Wine Michale Brajkovich, this wine truly delivers. When I was in the retail sector we often sold this wine for $30. The wine industry has changed and now there are many discounted wines.

The 2010 Kumeu River Pinot Gris is a firm favourite. Its luscious appeal will simply bowl you over. It’s rich, textured and very approachable. The stone fruit characters remind me that Summer’s on its way. The almond, sweet white peach and mandarin aromas simply seduce you. The palate is rich, yet it’s no overly sweet and cloying.

It’s a must buy for Summer and the BBQs that it brings.

It’s definitely a bargain wine. Click to BUY! It’s only $19.99

I really enjoy Kumeu River’s wine program.  The Chardonnay especially.  Nice spotlight.  Too bad so many Americans only do Pinot Grigio, and half think only in terms of Santa Margherita.
